About Robert Cody

I have 40 years working in aerospace engineering at Hughes Aircraft, GM Hughes, Raytheon, Delphi Engineering, and Curtiss-Wright. I am currently working at Curtiss-Wright Integrated Systems as an embedded system architecture. I work at the front end of the business developing electronics system solutions for a wide range of embedded applications including control, I/O, displays, sensors, and graphics and signal processors. At Hughes/Raytheon/Delphi Engineering my specialization was in parallel software and systems development for embedded real-time sensor architectures, particularly EOIR and radar. I consulted on the software and digital design of multiple successful real-time signal processor architectures for infrared, radar, space sensor, and other applications. I have worked with FLIR, TV, LADAR, radar, and STAP algorithms for image enhancement, target identification, target acquisition, target tracking, moving target indication, obstacle avoidance, and sensor fusion. Work assignments include the first flight tested automatic target recognizer, model-based computer vision, development of real-time infrared search and multiple hypothesis target track, digital design for the ATFLIR system, digital design for various space sensors, development of a parallel processing architecture for space-time adaptive processing algorithms, processor architecture definition for the Integrated Sensor is Structure (ISIS) radar, and consultation in the development of multiple high performance processing systems.
