My entire professional career has been focused on the Health Care Industry. I initially graduated from Stonehill College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree focused on Health Care Administration. During this time I studied a variety of areas within the health care sector including finance, supply chain management, the continuum of long term care, health care policy, quality improvement, and health care employment law. By the end of 2011 I was hired as an Ambulatory Service Representative II at Boston Children's Hospital in the Ophthalmology Department. Within a year I transitioned into the Ophthalmic Technician role. During this time I chose to pursue a career in nursing. In 2017 I was accepted into the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Northeastern University and graduated 16 months later. Since March 2019 I have worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse I/II on a medicine unit focused on adults 18 years and older with various complex medical conditions.
