About Robert Connor

I have been in the financial services industry for 40 years. The first half of my career was spent in a variety of institutional trading rolls that provided valuable perspective as I moved from Cleveland, Chicago, Singapore, Tokyo, London, Boston and finally Los Angeles. In 1994 I joined Merrill Lynch and used my skills to craft customized investment strategies for individuals, families, and foundations. I received my undergraduate degree in finance from Xavier University and my MBA from the University of Cincinnati. I’m a proud native of Cleveland, home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the only river that ever caught fire. I am the father of two grown daughters and four grandchildren. My wife Marilyn and I are the owners and proprietors of Rancho Grammy in the High Sierra where we enjoy skiing and hiking. When I descend below feet you can find me behind the Lakers bench or at the Hollywood Bowl. Marilyn and I endow a scholarship at Our Lady of Grace School and support the United Way.
