About Robert Czesak

As a Safeguarding Researcher at the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), I investigate cases involving children and vulnerable adults where there are safeguarding concerns, and as a result, Children’s or Adult’s Social Care need to be notified so that they can ensure the right interventions are made. By accessing various Police systems, I work methodically, conducting thorough and detailed searches in accordance with MASH policy, so the safeguarding reports can be updated with the relevant information found. This is a key part of the process to ensure that the decision maker has the right information to risk assess the case, and share what the Police know about the incident with our partners to help them to decide what action they may need to take to keep that person safe. I also provide initial analysis of the risk areas identified during the research, so MASH referrals can be put forward.
