About Robert Day

I am a Property Valuation Program Coordinator for the Kentucky Department of Revenue. In this role I work with local assessing offices to develop assessments and assist in the operation of the offices. I currently oversee 40 local offices ranging from to parcels each. I also conduct classes for office personnel for basic appraisal theories, advanced income approach, office management and quality testing. I also assist the local offices with GIS applications as well as implementing new database solutions. I am very familiar with many tax softwares (PTMS, OneSource, Argus DCF, iasWorld) and many other computer applications (Microsoft, SAP, Vertax, TeraData). I have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my 12+ years with the Kentucky Department of Revenue. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other individuals in the assessment and appraisal field. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I believe the analytics of complex properties is the most fascinating. I have also enjoyed my affiliation with IAAO, where I have earned their CAE designation. I look forward to helping others in their pursuit of IAAO designations. I have an BBA from Morehead State University with a concentration in Real Estate Studies.
