About Robert Derrick

I am a Managing Director of Prudential Private Capital, an investment asset management unit of PGIM. I am a Dedicated Partner of PGIM Private Capital’s Direct Lending business, and I serve on it's Senior Investment Committee. I am also responsible for PPC’s Syndication and Placement activity. Prior to this role, I served as Co-Head of PPC’s North American Corporate Finance business and he oversaw PPC’s Atlanta, Dallas, and New York Corporate Finance offices, in addition to the Commercial Asset Finance group. Prior to becoming a Dedicated Partner of Direct Lending, I served as a Partner of Prudential Capital Partners, the middle-market mezzanine debt and structured equity fund management business sponsored by PPC. I am a member of the Board of Directors of several Prudential Capital Partners portfolio companies. I joined Prudential in 1987, and prior to this was a Region Vice President for a division of Barclays Bank Plc. I received my BBA from Georgia State University. I am a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
