I am a CIMA qualified senior finance professional with a progressive career enhancing financial processes and operations through creating and executing robust financial strategies in diverse sectors including charitable organisations and educational institutions. Over the course of my career, I have established myself as a trusted business partner and Board advisor, being able to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders up to C-level with the aim of developing and delivering business-critical process improvements. In addition, as a confident communicator and trusted leader, I have demonstrated success in developing robust reporting capability to deliver real-time financial and commercial data to senior business leaders, re-engineering financial processes and producing on-time financial / management repots and forecasts. Notable successes include- Developing suite of 10 KPIs to support Monkton Combe School in achieving their strategic ambitions by enabling measurement of financial and non-financial performance to track school’s progress- Leading internal review and restructure of dentistry division for Social Care in Action to increase profitability. Subsequently sold dentistry division to private sector company with a £3.5m cash injection into the charity- Reducing quarterly reporting time to the Department for International Development for Send a Cow charity from 35 days to 15 days.
