About Robert Dimedio

I am a a dynamic educator who believes in 21st century student driven instruction, at Cherry Hill I started my year with a 100% digitally driven classroom that was showcased and used as an exemplary model once instruction went 100% online due to covid. Prior to Cherry Hill public Schools I came to Catapult Education with twelve years of educational experience including five as a Dean of Students in the School District of Philadelphia and three years as an administrator of private local high schools. I am serving as a founding member of Catapult Education's River Academy, Catapult' first alternative education school in Camden. Prior to Catapult, I was the Founding Head of School of Fusion Academy's Cherry Hill Campus where within two months of my hiring he successfully opened a brand new campus in a brand new market, and helped guide both the hiring process for the staff as well as the accreditation process to help the school receive accreditation from both Middle States and AdvancEd. I have also served as Associate Principal to Dennis Guida at Holy Cross Academy where under Dennis' guidance I helped develop and design, a new classroom of the future. promote a robotics program and helped create numerous innovations to both STEM development and reshaping the new teacher hiring process. In 2013, I was hired at Benjamin Franklin High School as their Dean of Students and was made responsible for all school climate and safety operations. During this time Ben Franklin combined with University City and Robert Vaux High Schools during the Philadelphia schools merger. I was responsible for helping bring the communities together and operate as one school. During my tenure at Ben Franklin I helped revive their once dormant AP program and coordinated funding and administration of the programs. I also taught night, and Saturday school, while earning my Masters in Athletic Administration from Ohio University, and was named the assistant athletic director. I earned my first Dean of Students position at Communications High School where I was a teacher for seven years.
