About Robert Donley

I am a licensed attorney and certified mediator who is privileged to teach in the legal studies, criminal justice, and graduate programs as a Professor of Legal Studies at Central Pennsylvania College. I also serve at Central Penn as academic advisor to criminal justice and legal studies students, and am a past president and vice president of Faculty Senate, where I currently serve as chair of the Academic Policy Committee. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Messiah College and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University. In addition, I have taken courses in the Master of Divinity programs at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, and Evangelical School of Theology in Myerstown, PA. I became a certified mediator through Lancaster Mediation Services in and an MTI-certified Professional in Resolving Workplace Conflicts in 2005. I have served on the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Dispute Settlement, where I also served as a volunteer mediator and chairman of the Policy and Procedures Committee. I have written and teach several courses on conflict resolution at Central Penn, including a basic and advanced undergraduate course in alternative dispute resolution and a graduate course in conflict management. Finally, I converted to Taoism in 2015 and maintain a blog on practicing Taoism in America at americantaoist.weebly.com. Specialties: Mediation and other forms of ADR, teaching, communications, policy formulation and implementation.
