I am an experienced Internal Verifier, D32-D33 (A1) Assessor and Training Supervisor with over 25 years production experience within the Petrochemical and Oil and Gas industry for ExxonMobil, BP, Petrofac and Ineos Petrochemicals. Responsibilities for assessment and verification process, maintaining quality assurance standards, competence matrix, asset training schedule planning, training material delivery, training and assessment evaluation on all technical assessors, skill gap analysis, supporting assessors, monitoring their assessments and ensuring the awarding body standards are met. To lead the development, delivery and continuous quality improvement of the identified VQ portfolio to ensure the company I’m working for is the business and community partner of choice. An important part of my Internal Verifier role is to ensure the instructors - assessors give live ‘hands on’ instruction and training with primary focus to provide naturally occurring evidence for the qualification along with leading the verification process by sampling assessment activities, monitor consistency of assessment decisions, coordinate day to day training activities including classroom knowledge training modules and lesson plans to ensure that technical instructors follow the assessment guidelines provided. Also report regularly on training progress to senior management. Experienced control room DCS panel technician, technical author for operating procedures and extensive pre –commission, commissioning within UK, China and Malaysia for BP – Ineos petrochemicals and Pertofac Dubai I have a high level of HSE experience within the industry including all aspects of Control of Work permits, COSHH, HAZOPS and written risk assessments.
