About Robert Faltermeier

I am House Master of Mathesons House at Glenalmond College in Perthshire, Scotland as well as a teacher of History. I am a loving husband and proud father, as well as a passionate, adaptable, dynamic, and innovative teacher as well as a lifelong learner. I am also a Google Level 1 and 2 Certified Educator, a Google for Education Certified Trainer, a Commonsense Educator and Ambassador, as well as a Google Educator Group Leader. I recently completed my Master's in Education from the University of Bath, focusing on integrating the theory of Constructionism and 21st-century pedagogy in the context of using digital mapping tools to enhance the teaching of historical thinking skills. I believe that one can change the world through the power of education and believe that by working collaboratively both locally and with international insight, we can make the world of education more effective and relevant for the 21st century. In my spare time, I love exploring the heavens through my telescope as well as travelling the world with my family and I love all things tech as well as having a love for history, which I also teach.
