Motivated by a strong desire to create a positive influence, I have decided to shift my focus to the field of counselling. Currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University, my ultimate goal is to evolve into a committed professional counsellor, dedicated to empowering individuals and nurturing their personal growth. In my current role as a Community Inclusion Support Worker, I strive to make a positive impact by providing essential support to foster opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities and their families. This experience has granted me valuable insights into the specific needs and challenges faced by individuals in diverse circumstances. Before my involvement in community inclusion, I acquired substantial experience in the manufacturing industry, where I held leadership positions driving team performance. In this capacity, I consistently cultivated a positive and collaborative work environment, prioritizing productivity and maintaining high-quality standards. This pivotal experience catalyzed the development of my leadership skills, equipping me with the ability to communicate goals effectively, navigate conflicts, and propel success through a unified approach to teamwork I actively participate in community involvement and have volunteered in diverse roles. At present, I serve as a Palliative Support Care Visiting Volunteer with Crossroads Hospice, providing support to individuals and families facing challenging circumstances and offering compassionate care during their journey. I have earned several certifications, including ASIST Certified and MANDT Certified further enhancing my skills and expertise in providing comprehensive support to individuals.
