I love focusing on details to find things that others may miss, creating order where there may have been chaos and simplifying what was complex. My lengthy experience being part of and managing a back-end support group treating over 100 different tasks required me to become very adept at reviewing and writing new procedures, ensuring they were being followed correctly to reduce risks and create order by prioritizing the order things got processed. I also love getting lost in an Excel file. Analyzing what seems like an obscene amount of data to pull out trends, insights and making impactful recommendations provides me with a high sense of pride and accomplishment. My experience being an analyst, as well as managing teams of analysts, has allowed me to feed my passion for providing meaningful insights and to help answer some seemingly difficult questions. Lastly, I enjoy leading a team towards the achievement of a common goal through encouragement, positive reinforcement, recognition and leading by example. My 15+ years experience managing teams ranging from 5 to 40 people has allowed me to try different approaches to find what works best for me. Whether working one-on-one or in a group setting, my calm demeanor and open communication style is a great asset. Everyone is unique and has their own strengths that can lead them to success. Sometimes it is just a matter of helping them discover what they are and how best to use them. I am a highly adaptable self-motivator who tends to connect with like-minded individuals who prefer to see the glass as half full. You often spend more time at work than with your friends and family, making the relationship you have with your colleagues (at all levels) just as important as your daily tasks.
