About Robert Galang

I’m an audio engineer, post-production specialist, and musician with a passion for telling stories through sound. From high-profile podcasts to major network media workflows, I’ve worked on a wide range of creative and technical projects that combine precision with creativity. My current work at Paramount focuses on AV edit and conform tasks, ensuring top-tier quality across formats like 2.0, 5.1, and Dolby Atmos. In addition to that, I’ve contributed post-production audio to critically acclaimed podcasts for ABC Audio and The Atlantic. I bring a detail-oriented mindset to every step of the process—from session setup and quality control to final mix and delivery. Here’s a quick look at my skill set: • Audio editing, mixing, and mastering (Pro Tools, Logic Pro) • AV edit and conform workflows (Premiere Pro, Ooona Tools) • Multitrack podcast production and scoring • Metadata and media asset management • File transcoding, ingest, and delivery across broadcast platforms • Jira-based workflow and QC systems Outside of the studio, I’m an experienced musician with over 20 years of guitar playing, and I run a small home studio for personal and freelance projects. I also bring a background in IT support and media management, which helps me bridge the technical with the creative. Whether I’m working on a podcast, a mix session, or a video deliverable, I always aim to elevate the final product with sound that feels intentional and alive.
