About Robert Gotschall

Robert Gotschall is a confident, client-focused project management and functional leader, with over 22 years of experience in full-lifecycle SAP implementations, and 40 total years of systems design and implementation experience. His focus is the management of projects to design and implement Procure to Pay and Logistics Execution business processes using the latest SAP technologies for large enterprises. He has proven project management, integration management and team leadership experience. He is also a functional expert in all aspects of Source to Pay process area, including Procurement, Inbound and Outbound Logistics and Invoice and Payables Management. A former Platinum Consultant at SAP Americas, Mr. Gotschall has a demonstrated ability to lead and deliver SAP solutions across a broad spectrum of industries and geographies. At a major medical devices company, he led the Procure to Pay team on a greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA 1610 and 1709. He was responsible for the creation and monitoring of the detailed project plan to design, build and implement all Procure to Pay processes, including Procurement, Accounts Payable and Supply Chain Collaboration using Ariba. At a leading US business services company, Mr. Gotschall led the Stockroom Team on a full lifecycle implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 EhP6, Apparel and Footwear. He built and monitored a detailed project plan to design, construct, test and deliver specialized Procurement and Logistics Execution processes for tracking out-of-service garments and facility services items for over 260 locations across the US and Canada. At a Wholesale Specialty Technology Distribution company, Mr. Gotschall served as the Business Process Integration Manager, and was responsible for the functional integration of all in-scope functional areas. He helped identify and mitigate project risks, issues and action items. He designed management reporting processes to regular track and report status of build and testing of all team deliverables. He supported the management of day-to-day milestones and deliverables and consolidated process team project plans into the overall project plan. He has a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University. He is a contributing author for the SAP Press book “Sourcing and Procurement in S/4HANA”.
