About Robert Grimm

Greatness in nature and people makes me tick. For as long as I can remember, I’ve come alive when flying, travelling, sharing experiences that bring people together, and celebrating greatness. I'm inspired when the best of someone shines through at work, in a talent competition like The Voice, or in sports (as a die-hard Colts fan, I can't even dislike Tom Brady b/c I respect his accomplishments too much). No surprise, then, I’m also a self-development nerd who loves to learn about and discuss strengths, how to improve skills, increase energy & sustainability, and maximize potential of individuals and teams. Similar interests have driven me throughout my career. Practicing law and wearing different hats as a leader in the NFP world taught me to be agile, continually learn, and help businesses operate effectively while mitigating risk. But THE WAY I consult/coach/partner with others to solve business objectives is with a very data-driven yet people-centric approach, and I believe in "people strategy" as a primary lever for making decisions and recommendations. What’s good for people is actually also good for business! At my best, I’m deeply thoughtful and perceptive; knowledgeable but curious; authentic; and able to show up as both highly analytical and concerned about how others are impacted. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and kids, exercising, reading (esp. topics of self-help, leadership, and ideas that shape human civilization), listening to HR and true crime podcasts, watching sports, and travelling.or dreaming of travelling. I care about doing things that keep Indy great, and to that end I serve on the Board of a local charter school and recently served on the Local Organizing Committee for the 2021 Men's NCAA Final Four.
