Current passions include cybersecurity / network and workstation management. I am actively engaged in my second career while pursuing further certifications and degrees. Experience with enterprise networks and systems, monitoring and ticketing software, workstation builds, diagnostics and maintenance. Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Linux packages, virtual machine platforms and utilization, working on knowledge areas of networking, server backup, firewall implementation and maintenance. After years in law enforcement, including leadership positions, I can honestly say that I very much enjoyed interacting with people, working for positive change and devising innovative programs and ideas. I have been lucky to work with dynamic individuals and community partners throughout my life. Experience in multiple areas to include management, technical skills, and problem solving. Other interests and skillsets include aviation, building home networks, and generally tinkering with anything I find interesting!
