About Robert Hieger
Aspiring to a consulting career in integrated web applications, web development and design, I have a followed a highly individualized path that tests the limits of common wisdom regarding specialization in my chosen field. Proceeding from the viewpoint that information technology, in general, and particularly in the realm of web development/design suffer from hyper-specialization, I aim for excellence both in front-end and back-end development. To this end, I have recently earned my Master's Degree in the Integrated Digital Media program at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering (January 2017). This program goes beyond the notion of interdisciplinary study and coincides with my view of my field as multi-disciplinary. My ultimate aim is to provide services in design and development that are highly customized for the needs of the individual client, minimizing the impact of coordination between members of large development teams.
