About Robert Hinkelmann

My passion is using analytics to reduce costs in Supply Chain and Procurement networks. I enjoy working with cross-functional specialists to make manufacturing more efficient and to bring new products to market. I am also highly driven by building models that help teams and empower leadership to make quick decisions. I work cross-functionally to create advanced analytics that help with the investing and prioritizing of capital projects, streamlining manufacturing systems, and evaluating co-manufacturing and bargaining contracts throughout North America's Supply Chain. In addition, I give financial insight regarding productivity improvement projects that save money in the Supply Chain and tackle Supply Chain optimization problems by forming analytics that offer a comprehensive view of the issue and suggest the best possible solution(s). I provide expertise in creating cashflow models to calculate IRR/NPV of capital projects and to create business cases that facilitate expedient senior decision-making. I believe success is driven by hard work and that challenges are just opportunities in work clothes. I am known professionally for cross-functional team building and working with SMEs to solve issues that drive sizable savings. One of my biggest career successes is that I have worked cross-functionally to bring about massive organizational transformation, which has saved the Supply Chain millions of dollars. I'm also passionate about volunteering and have coached youth sports. Additionally, I assist my local church, food banks, Habitat for Humanity, and Salvation Army Christmas warehouse.
