About Robert Hinrichs

Robert is Principal Engineer and Development Manager for the Common Sense Education site at Common Sense Media, a non-profit working for the interests of kids, families and educators, based in San Francisco. Robert is also a founder of FUSE Coworking, a coworking space founded in Lincoln, Nebraska's historic Haymarket District, where he works to build a vibrant community of tech startups, developers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. Before moving to Lincoln, Robert lived in the San Francisco Bay area, where he founded ISL Consulting, a Web development firm. The ISL group established ClearMetrics in New York City, where Bob served as CTO. Robert has acted as chief architect of many successful solutions. He built ISL's object-oriented framework for Web applications. He has worked with many client and server-side technologies. He turned his skill acquisition toward Drupal, and has contributed much to the Drupal community. He plays a lead role in organizing the local Drupal user's group for the Lincoln and Omaha area. Robert holds a Juris Doctor from University of California College of the Law. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kansas with an Honors Degree in English literature. Robert has released five albums: Bob is Famous, Soulever, Electric Mammal, Interrobang, and Dark After Lullabies, and is always producing more music. This might be out of date, ha. In 2019, Robert was the funding chairperson of the Innovation Committee of Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra. As such he helped conceive, and oversaw the establishment of, the successful Harmony In Healing project.
