About Robert Hinton

With over nine years of work experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors, I am a passionate and dedicated ADA Specialist at Unum, a leading provider of employee benefits and financial protection. My core competencies include national accounts management, project management, negotiation, and customer service. I am committed to delivering high-quality ADA solutions that meet the diverse needs and expectations of our large customers, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. I enjoy working with a collaborative and supportive team that values innovation, diversity, and excellence. In my current role, I serve as a single point of contact for our ADA customers’ managers and designated HR representatives, providing consultation and education on ADA, integrated leave management, FMLA, and STD/LTD claims management. I also partner with various Unum entities, such as the Law Department, clinical and vocational resources, and the disability/leave specialists, to facilitate the interaction between the employer, the employee, and the attending physician. Additionally, I give finalist call presentations upon request from the National Client Managers, showcasing our ADA capabilities and expertise. Some of the skills that I have applied and developed in this role are national accounts, project management, and negotiation.
