About Robert Hoffman

Bob graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1981 with a degree in accounting. He began his accounting career in St. Louis with Price Waterhouse in the tax department working with individual tax clients as well as privately held businesses and their owners. In November 1988, Bob left Price Waterhouse and opened his own practice. Bob continued to work with individuals and privately held companies and their owners and together with Ryan Bricker and Jay Adams, Bob formed Hoffman, Bricker & Adams, P.C. in May 1997 where he currently works. Bob currently is licensed in Missouri and a member of both the MSCPA and the AICPA. Bob's areas of business expertise include all areas of taxation, divorce, issues related to closely-held businesses and other financial and accounting matters. In May, 2022, Bob completed his Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies (MAPS) at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis. In August 2018, Bob completed and received his Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Aquinas as well. He currently serves as an adjunct spiritual director at Mercy Center in St. Louis. He assists at Bethesda Health Systems as part of the hospice group, as well as providing spiritual direction to some non-hospice residents at Bethesda. Bob is a native of St. Louis and currently lives in West St. Louis County. He works or has worked with many charitable endeavors including Ukrainian Children's Aid and Relief Effort, Inc.(UCARE, Inc.), the MO Department of Corrections, and various churches around St. Louis.
