About Robert Holtom

As a child the pathway to my dream job as an Astronaut came to a dead end once I was told about the nausea inducing G force that my sensitive stomach would have to face, but my curiosity about the unknown remained and set the foundation for my passion to see the big picture. This passion for knowing how things work from start to finish may not have got me into orbit but has proven to be a valuable tool in my career path here on Earth. Currently my job as PC Team leader requires me to monitor and control materials and orders at numerous stages through the production process. From the procurement of components and raw materials to the logistics of outgoing finished goods, I am responsible for keeping a seamless flow of materials to meet productions and the customers ever changing needs. Strengths: Numbers and Calculations, Computers, Communication, Problem Solving. Experienced in: Supplier Communication (Planning, Ordering, and Forecasting) Customer service, EDI and Procurement software, Inventory management.
