Financial reporting: My 6 years of industry experience to date has taken me from the role of an Accounts Assistant booking transactions (AP/AR/banking), to a Financial Controller overseeing the financial affairs and producing management reports, and finally to a Group Financial Controller responsible for producing consolidated group reports (internal management reporting and external board/lender reporting). Due to this extensive end-to-end record-to-report process experience, I have recently been seconded to take up a functional lead role within the organisation for the global implementation of a new cloud-based ERP system (NetSuite). My current and previous role in particular have helped me gain experience managing teams based locally and in remote locations such as Italy, Spain, India, Singapore, Australia and US. On completion of this project I will resume my role as a Group Financial Controller. Project management: Experience in leading medium/large multi-faceted projects - currently functional lead for a global ERP system implementation project. Previously project lead for Group GL environment rationalisation project (system migrations/process improvements) plus a travel system data cleanse project. Tax: transfer pricing; multi-jurisdiction corporate and sales taxes; liaising with external tax advisors IT Skills: highly proficient and experienced in a range of financial software solutions incl NetSuite ERP, Sage, Epicor, MS Great Plains, Quickbooks, MYOB. Daily use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
