About Robert Hudson

I now work part time following a 35 year career in the NHS and Government in Wales. My career incorporated 4 NHS CEO posts, 6 yrs in the Senior Civil Service and leadership on a range of high profile and complex national projects. My planning and PPM experience covered a wide range of major organisational and clinical change programmes. In total I worked more than 28 years at Board level. I am a qualified coach and mentor and I am currently employed ( 3 days a week) in two roles,firstly as a Visiting Professor/ Health Services Advisor in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education at the University of South Wales and secondly as co Director of the newly established Intensive Learning Academy for Leadership in Digital Transformation at USW. I recently concluded 11 mths as the interim Chair of Digital Health and Care Wales helping to establish the new organisation and its Board. I also had 3 years non executive experience as a Board Member of the UK Public Health Register. With my wife Kathryn I also run my own coaching and consulting business and have worked with clients from Central Gvt, Local Authority and NHS backgrounds.
