About Robert Humphries

I’ve worked in the agricultural R&D field for over 37 years, and hope to continue doing so until I decide to retire. I literally started at the bottom, chopping weeds, hand-picking cotton, anything and everything I was asked to do. I worked hard, listened, and learned from those around me. If an opportunity presented itself, I took it, never regretting the hard work it took to get there. I’ve worked for some awesome leaders/mentors to whom I will always be grateful for their support. Trait Development My motto in life is based on a quote by Novelist, C.S. Lewis - “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.”
