Ordering gear and equipment needed, submitting quotes and AFE’s for expenditures. Establishing a budget and tracking budgeted items. Perform weekly, monthly, and yearly inspections on equipment. Meet with city public safety to discuss facility operations and mutual aid concerns and also training with the city. Enrolled the facility to be a part of Texas City IMAS mutual aid system. Work with security contractor for staffing needs, inspections, and patrols of onsite and offsite locations. Field safety inspecting work sites and auditing permits daily and weekly. Conduct new hire orientations. Lead Operator to oversee demo and reconstruction of 50bbl crude processing unit. Ensure all equipment was cleared, LOTO, and decontaminated for demo work. Observe rebuild of process unit. Issue safe work, hot work, confined space permits. Review P & ID’s for construction accuracy or revisions needed. Train new operators for console and outside operations. PSSR of completed processes, and walkthrough prior to unit commissioning. Start up and troubleshoot issues. Develop, build, and train the Emergency Response Team, current job is Emergency Response Coordinator/Fire Chief Texas A&M Engineering Extension (TEEX) November 2018 – Current Part time instructor/trainer for fire fighting for industrial and municipal firefighters. Instruct strategy and tactics for interior and exterior fire operations per NFPA, TCFP, SFFMA policies. Conduct training in classroom settings and live fire training. Build and develop course materials to customer needs or using established training curriculum and testing for certification. Trainings are from a basic fire academy for beginners to advanced strategy and tactics for advanced students. Also perform training for NIMS/ICS for municipal and industrial entities.
