As a newly licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey towards mental wellness and personal growth. With a fresh and enthusiastic approach, I bring a deep commitment to providing empathetic, client-centered care tailored to each person's unique needs. My educational background includes a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey, where I gained a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Person-Centered Therapy. During my clinical training, I had the opportunity to work with diverse populations, helping clients address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Key elements of my practice include- Creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings- Utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients develop effective coping strategies and resilience- Fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to achieve their goals- Continuously engaging in professional development to stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling. In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about mental health advocacy and education. I am dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues and reducing stigma through community outreach and education programs.
