About Robert J. Hackett

My practice has focused on corporate, securities and banking law, including public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. I have represented issuers, underwriters, venture capital firms, financial institutions and investors. My experience in corporate finance includes negotiating and drafting restructurings of corporate debt, venture capital transactions, tax exempt and taxable bond offerings, including industrial development authority bonds, project financing, leveraged leases, term loans, revolving credit agreements and interest rate swaps. I regularly represent emerging companies in capital markets transactions. My practice includes the organizatoin of various types of companies, including for example corporations, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, limited liability limited partnerships and joint ventures. I have experience representing financial institutions. That experience includes representing bank holding companies in the acquistiion of other financial instutitions. I practice before the Securities and Exchange Comission, the Securities Division of the Arizona Corporation Commission and the Arizona State Department of Financial Institutions.
