Currently, serving as a member of the AACRAO SEM Quarterly Editorial Board.I worked at a leading Polytechnic University in British Columbia. Kwantlen Polytechnic University is an evolving post-secondary institution with a diverse student population which reflects its diverse range of programs in the arts, business, science, horticulture, health sciences, design, and trades & technology which are dedicated to global citizenship, community engagement, rewarding careers, teaching, and scholarship. My primary area of expertise are enrollment management and student affairs. Specifically, marketing, recruitment, admissions, retention, registration, graduation, student information systems, financial aid & scholarships, enrollment services, transfer articulation, career and academic advising, veterans affairs, student conduct, diversity programs, and international affairs. My areas of interest are leadership, mentorship, governance, policy, and higher education history and politics. I have also taught as an adjunct faculty in Sociology. My portfolio includes positions in the USA, Qatar, and Canada.I have extensive higher education administrative experience at public and private post secondary colleges and universities in urban and rural environments at liberal arts, professional programs, and comprehensive research and doctoral institutions. The primary program and curriculum knowledge areas include liberal arts, engineering, physical sciences, health sciences, trades/technology, and social sciences.In addition to my role as the University Registrar, I was also the Campus Principal: KPU Surrey. Reporting to the President, the Campus Principal is responsible for promoting and developing the campus, providing leadership, and recommending initiatives and resources to the executive leadership.
