About Robert Jech

I have been working as the Laboratory Manager of KEMA Labs located in Prague, Czech Republic (CESI Group) since 2014. I graduated from the Czech Technical University and in 1998 I jointed Zkušebnictví, a.s.(ZKU) as a consultant in Engineering Department. In 2002 I participated on Czech energy utilities privatization project for EdF. In 2003 I have moved in High Power Laboratory (HPL) on the position of Test Engineers (manager of testing projects). Later on I extended my activity in management area - Quality Manager, Head of HPL & HVL Laboratories, Operational Director & Member of BoD Since 2004 I have been a representative of STL Technical Committee and representative of STL Management Committee since 2016.(STL - Short-circuit Testing Liaison; association for harmonization and unification of testing activities provided to energy sector) KEMA Labs are providing independernt testing and certification services to producers of components for transmission and distribution systems. KEMA Labs Prague is recognized as expert in power arc tests, internal arc classification tests, short-circuit tests, switching tests, dielectric tests and other tests on equipment for transmission and distribution of electricity. KEMA Labs Prague offers KEMA-branded services in specific low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage areas. Zkušebnictví, a.s.(ZKU) is member of KEMA since 2009 and part of CESI Group since 2019.
