My name is Mr. Robert J. Jemison, I am a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have been a Nurse Practitioner for over Five years, as a Primary Care Provider. As a Primary Care Provider. I enjoy a diverse patient population, which allows for a certain proficiency in skilled assessments and examinations, where during my routine clinical duties I order and interpret diagnostic testing, establish diagnosis, monitor acute chronic and episodic illness. In collaboration with Psychiatrist and as part of a Forensic Aftercare Transitional team, I have occasion to provide services with concentration in co-morbid disease, in severe chronic mental illness, adjusting treatment plans as required, creating and initiating treatment plans independently in clinic, home and Forensic Aftercare Residential setting(s). I have referred and collaborated with specialist as needed. I have over thirty years experience as a registered nurse, with extensive background in intensive care, emergency, cath lab, home health, psychiatry, and administrative nursing. I am presently credentialed with Medicare, United Health Care, Americare Caritas, Blue Cross Commercial Plans; Medicaid (All Bayou Plans) and Traditional Louisiana Medicaid as a Primary Care Provider. I also serve as a NOBA Commissioned Medical Missionary. My credentialing information is available in the CAQH, Universal Provider Datasource portal.
