About Robert Jennings

I started my professional career in the United States Air Force in 1995. While serving my country in Cheyenne, WY, I learned about teamwork, time management, and how to work under stressful situations. After an honorable discharge in I moved home to Morganton, NC, and began a long tenure as a pharmacy technician. This challenging field reinforced my teamwork and problem-solving skills, along with significant attention to detail and customer service. I graduated from East Carolina University in May 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. In 2019, I began a career as a drafter and designer at an architectural firm in Morganton, NVERSE Architects. This field has also taught me valuable new computer and design skills, along with reinforcing my research skills and customer-centric attitude. I have gained particular knowledge of the positives and negatives of running a small business daily. I currently work part-time at NVERSE and am enrolled as a full-time student at Appalachian State University Hickory Campus in Hickory, North Carolina. I am set to graduate in December 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a major in Computer Information Systems: Cybersecurity. I look forward to challenging and exciting work in this new field and hope to use my past work experiences and life lessons to add value to an employer.
