About Robert Jersey

I have multiple years of experience with Adobe and their suite of products. I would say my specialty is in Photoshop, I enjoy creating digital textures and scenes. I've recently began working on animation both traditional and 3d. I'm currently working with MAYA and Arnold rendering software. I’m currently studying at Washtenaw Community College and plan to move on to a four-year university after next semester. I rediscovered my love of painting while in the Marine Corps. I painted dozens of aircraft and was even fortunate as to do several different types of special custom pieces on Commanding officers’ aircraft. I enjoy using photoshop, procreate and sketch-up. I prefer to work in analog (paper and pencil) to flesh out my ideas and concepts. I’m currently working on developing a graphic novel, doing the writing and planning on my own. My skills don’t just stop at paper, I enjoy tinkering and building as well. I have an old house that my wife and I are always trying to fix and repair! It has been a great exercise in pushing my creative skills. I'm also a bit of an adventurer having started my professional work career as a deck hand in Alaska. Having spent multiple seasons on the water, I've an appreciation for exploration as well as sitting around drawing.
