Mix of investment banker, business mediator and entrepreneur. Founder and Managing Partner, Whyte & Co, Good Time Beverages, Robert Whyte Mediation and DoggieWater products. Good Time Beverages, a spirit's contract packaging company, EB-5 funded and DoggieWater a "sports drink for dogs". Provides mediation to companies, and individuals on a global basis using years of hands-on experience and some grey hair. He is the author of a bestselling book: “Secret Government Approved Funding” (available at Amazon). Robert historically completed M&A, and private equity funding deals from $15 million to $150 million per transaction, high yield bonds and IPO's. Graduate of Cornell University in conflict resolution and a member of the National Association of Certified Mediators. In 2002, Robert founded the Los Angeles office of Morgan Joseph & Co. as Managing Partner and Compliance Officer. The firm specialized in SPAC's, PIPE's, high yield debt, institutional private equity or IPO's. Before Los Angeles, Robert lived in New York City and was a partner in the Media and Broadcast Group of RBC Daniels and Associates. Historically, Mr. Whyte was one of the founding partners of Home Shopping Network and in 1986, led the company as its CEO through its Initial Public Offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the US Company on the American Stock Exchange. In 1980, he became the youngest CRTC licensee of a broadcasting radio station in Canada Robert holds SEC/FINRA Series 7, 63 securities licenses, and a current General Principal Series 24 license (all currently SEC inactive). Past president of the Los Angeles Venture (capital) Assocation; LAVA. Past member of the board and a Director of Pacific City Financial, Rotary 5 Paul Harris Fellow. Founder of the MeatEaters Ball (charity funds for CHLA). Past Chairman, Investment Capital Conference, Past Member of IIUSA and EB-5 Investment Coalition in Washington D.C.
