About Robert Keehan

I have a passion for serving companies that provide the energy necessary to enable global economic progress. Partnering with leadership teams and boards at organizations, I've been involved in the sector from wellhead to burner tip. My support of the sector also included managing important aspects of PwC's relationships with Energy Infrastructure Council (EIC) and Edison Electric Institute (EEI). During my career, I led the audits of four Fortune 250 clients and the relationships and projects at three of PwC's largest consulting clients. My 37 years at PwC provided me with significant exposure to high-performing boards and Audit Committees at some of the largest companies in the sector, developing a good understanding of governance and appreciation for the respective roles of management and the board. I gained substantial experience collaborating with executives and boards navigating diverse business opportunities and challenges including transactions across the deal continuum (M&A/IPOs/Spin-offs/JVs/Bankruptcies), evolving opportunities related to technology and AI, regulatory and risk management, cost management, sourcing models, and ESG. Focused on serving PwC's audit and consulting clients throughout my career, I concurrently held managerial positions at the Firm. I spent ten years serving leadership roles in two $1B business units - the Washington, D.C, Metro regional practice and the Energy, Utility and Renewables national sector practice. In these positions, I was responsible for clients, revenue growth, profitability, quality, and human resources. For six years, I also served PwC in roles related to important initiatives and projects related to technology, AI, process improvement, centralization, cost management, ESG, quality improvement and regulatory relations.
