Transitioned from treating patients in South African hospitals to leading compliance for health tech – same systematic thinking, different stakes. Built BioInformatiCo's QMS infrastructure from the ground up, leading quality, risk management, and data privacy while keeping a growing team engaged and audit-ready. Led ISO27001 certification and external audits with zero major findings, coordinating cross-functional teams and serving as sole point of contact for audit engagements. Engineered creative compliance solutions leveraging existing software stacks, saving costs while meeting complex regulatory requirements across 21 CFR 11, GDPR, and POPIA. Developed training frameworks that teams actually complete, fostering a culture where compliance becomes second nature rather than an afterthought.
