B.A. in Art History and French Studies from University College Dublin. M.Phil. in Text/Image Studies from Trinity College Dublin. PhD on the relation between art and psychoanalysis from Trinity College Dublin. Specialist on the relationship between art, technology and identity/ideology and the work of Marcel Duchamp, Jacques Lacan and Slavoj Žižek. Track record of public-orientated research and research-led teaching. Eighteen years’ experience as an educator working between primary, secondary and third level institutions and across different international contexts and cultures (Ireland, France, Arab world). Visiting lecturer in Visual Studies, Art History, Aesthetics and Museum Studies (Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, University College Dublin).
