About Robert Kinzer

Robert began his career at Huntington as a teller in 2010 and proceeded to grow in various roles within the retail segment. In 2017, he transitioned to Cybersecurity, which allowed him to follow his passion for communications and marketing. As Security Outreach Manager, Robert leads the Business Segment Outreach team focused on reducing security risks through a comprehensive outreach program comprised of security awareness and change management communications, training initiatives, human risk management, and phishing simulations. In addition to Robert’s role within Huntington Security, he plays a large part in advocating for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through his involvement with Huntington’s Business Resource Groups (BRG) and Inclusion Councils. Robert currently serves as the Enterprise Co-Lead for the Pride Alliance BRG and leads the Customer Strategic Initiatives Committee, which advocates for and delivers key initiatives that impact LGBTQ+ customers and the front-line colleagues with whom they interact. Outside of Huntington, Robert serves as Director of Operations on the board of the Central Ohio Chapter of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). In this role, he is responsible for executing the annual Central Ohio InfoSec Summit and other large-scale initiatives. In addition, Robert is a key partner for the EmpoWE-R Women of InfoSec organization. Robert obtained his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Franklin University.
