Mortgages are what I do – the crazier the better. My specialty is complex situations that need creativity and mathematical thinking. For example, recently, I had a client that was buying a $4.5M rental condo in Vancouver. Two other brokers and one bank tried and could not get it done. A real estate investor client of mine, became aware of the situation and knew this was a challenge that was right up my alley. I was able to secure 100% financing on the $4.5M rental condo. This means zero down on a $4.5M rental condo in Vancouver. The way I’m able to do these mortgage scenarios for my clients is through my core competencies: Creative – I attack problems fifty different ways until they are solved Mathematical – My brain is wired for mortgage math and top of that I have created software for the mortgage industry Networked – I have relationships with all levels of bank personnel (from branch manager, mobile specialists, small business lending depts, commercial lending depts, to private banking) – and have a huge network to call upon as needed. Where I spend most of my time is with clients who are incorporated, real estate investors and higher net worth individuals.
