I have studied mechanical engineering (bachelors of science (5 years)). My thesis for graduation from Santa Clara University was to design and build a fiberglass and carbon fiber body for a hybrid electric race car where a team of 20 engineering students designed, built, and competed in an international competition to race an open wheel hybrid gas-electric race car. I continued my interest in engineering out of school through entrepreneurial activities such as maintaining a 3d hub and prototyping products for clients,(e.g. Standford) through the previous redwood city Tech Shop.
