I am looking for a role in Cybersecurity or IT Systems where I can drive value to the organization, as well as grow in my career. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Internet Security and Cyber Security, an Associate’s degree in Computer Network Systems, and I am actively studying for the CompTIA Security+ certification. I am experienced at: • PCI compliance audits where I reviewed network and admin settings, as well as NIST controls. This included analysis and reporting findings to Security leaders and appropriate teams for remediation. • Monitoring for potential threats to the environment by leveraging SIEM (McAfee) and vulnerability scanning. • Assessing and analyzing security events and alerts to identify which were real vs false positive and recommending action. I leveraged tools such as Virus Total and Wireshark. • Building detailed mapping of network devices. • Project management and I have worked with clients to understand their business needs, building out their schedules, and managing execution and delivery. I am highly experienced at: • Using SCCM and Ghost for imaging Solutions on computers, and servers. • IT Support, and general Support for trouble shooting various Computer issues from drivers, software reinstalls, clearing cache, Supporting software such as MS office, Windows XP/7/10/11, Apple products • Problem analysis by thinking outside the box or researching issues to come to the proper and best solution • Effectively communicating and working with peers and leaders within my organization and cross-functionally. • Building and maintaining strong, positive business relationships with peers, business customers, and stakeholders. • Creating efficient and effective processes to streamline operations. At TXDOT, I streamlined the repair process, and this saved them $1.2 million dollars per year, as an example. • Asset management throughout the asset’s lifecycle from procurement to retirement, ensuring data security, and HIPPA compliance as applicable. Maintained a 0-loss asset record for assets coming into my department. • Documentation of process/procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future execution, including in knowledge base tools. • Providing exceptional customer service (internally and externally).
