About Robert Lanier

21 born and raised in Houston Texas an active duty infantrymen stationed here at Fort Lewis WA. My contracts coming to a close in the next 6 months and I would like to explore new opportunities. I am a motivated confident and competent individual who served as a riflemen in a 4 man fire team for over 2 years were teamwork was a necessity for are success. Being in such position, critical thinking, the ability to adapt to any situation, and communication skills are key as we are constantly evolving around are enemy. Other traits the army bred me include time management discipline at its finest, leadership and responsibility. Skills I learned through the infantry revolve around mastery and expert qualifications with semi and full automatic fire arms, heavy weapons such as light machine guns and 50 caliber, anti tank and explosives. As well as operating radios and other electronics, first aid and a first response qualifications as well as security clearance. I drove an Infantry carrier vehicle (Stryker) for a short time which is a 20 ton vehicle and I conducted all maintenance and checks as I was the sole operator as well. I am looking to find work in federal or state law enforcement or boarder patrol agencies and I am even willing to travel internationally. I find pride in serving this country and I look forward to continuing outside of the army.
