About Robert Lee

I am a Chartered Civil Engineer and member of the Institution of Civil Engineers working in the construction industry on major infrastructure projects for over twelve years in New Zealand, United Kingdom and the UAE. A close attention to detail, ability to identify problems quickly, manage multiple elements of work concurrently and develop practical, cost effective engineering solutions has placed me on great sections of work. I am currently working on Meydan One Mall in Dubai managing the delivery of of the structural package. I believe my dedication and organisation make the difference on any project I am involved with, while my background, experience and personality allows me to vary my leadership as a project evolves. My approach to construction management and commitment ensures work is planned early and delivered successfully. I have a good character and balanced judgment, which form a critical element of my ability to ensure contractor and client work in a spirit of trust and collaboration to face complex engineering problems and form a positive working relationship throughout a project. The work achievements I am most proud of include- Demolishing Beachcroft Footbridge across SH20 in Auckland, NZ on a single night traffic closure - Successfully Jet Grouting 2200 columns through dense buried utilities, under historically listed buildings, within 1m of underground train tunnels, in an industry leading ground improvement process ahead of tunneling the new paid access links- Constructing the District and Circle Underpass Roof Slab on a 6-day track possession on the Victoria Station Upgrade Project in London, UK I am interested to expand my network and learn about new technology and opportunities in the construction industry.
