I take profit and purpose very personally.With 15yrs+ on the Executive of New Zealand's leading transport provider (Head of Marketing & Sustainability @ New Zealand Couriers, Freightways), teamed with global management and marketing experience - I am positioned to add value at a leadership level for businesses and organisations which target profitability, growth and sustainability. Business planning for our $325m+ business is a key responsibility in my current role.I have developed and positioned businesses and brands locally & globally - with profitable growth in a variety of markets. I understand and leverage revenue streams and different market verticals.Communications; Brand Management, Product Management, Sustainability, Prospect & Customer Funnel (and associated technology stack); Customer Acquisition & Lifecycle; Customer Journey; CX; UX and EX (employee experience) are my wheelhouse.I am used to operating with full P&L responsibility and getting hands-on, to ensure successful business execution at tactical as well as strategic levels.I have full executive responsibility for the Marketing function/team, the International Business Unit (P&L; Operations; Sales; CS; Admin 2007 - 2024) and Sustainability at New Zealand Couriers. From 2007 - 2016 I was also responsible for our business’s Systems/Technology team/functions.At Freightways Group level, I have comprehensive Marketing, Media and Communications responsibilities. I guided the 'Environment and Sustainability' portfolio for Freightways through to 2021, and continue to Head Sustainability for New Zealand Couriers while still actively inputing and contributing at Group level.I believe it is possible to deliver Sustainability in high emissions industries - and create positive change and improvement, without sacrificing business focus or profitability.A member of the Institute of Directors with Board level experience in Governance, I take pride in my contribution to New Zealand Business, Sport and Community.I have continued to develop my Management, Leadership and Governance skill-set through ongoing learning.
