8 years on the technical side of readymix concrete, followed by 32 years with Elkem. Moved to Ferroglobe in August 2018 as Technical Marketing Manager - Silica Fume. Have lectured on the ACT course and as an Honorary Lecturer at Liverpool University. Involved in 12 ACI committees currently. Also chair of the Institute of Concrete Technology Technical and Education committee since March 2014. At the end of 2018 I was asked to Chair the BSI committee 517/4 on Pozzolans. From 2019 to 2021 I was the President of the Institute of Concrete Technology. In 2022 I was elected to the Board of Direction of the ACI and to Honorary Fellow of The ICT. I travel the world presenting the product and its performance and working with most major applications and projects - and trying to infuse some of my enthusiasm for concrete technology into the next generation!
