About Robert Liggett

I have a doctorate degree (PhD) from the University of Saskatchewan in Education Administration. I completed my Master's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Calgary in 2008. Previously, I received my Baccalauréat en Education from the University of Regina in April 1995. As as bilingual educator with over 18 years of relevant experience, I am looking for opportunities that will allow me to have a role where I can make a significant contribution to the achievement of an organization's goals and objectives. My objectives include the ability to share my knowledge and expertise with fellow partners via professional development, leadership activities and facilitating workshops. I am passionate about leadership and I believe that good leadership can affect change and improve an organization. What does good leadership look like? What components build a good leader? Because strong educational and instructional background, I am very familiar with teaching from the primary to the adult levels. I have experience working in rural, urban, and northern settings. I have been given the responsibilities of creating, implementing, and evaluating assessment and curriculum instruction materials for use in educational organizations at the division and provincial levels. My strong passion for leadership has given me the ability to chair many educational groups, assessment for learning initiatives, professional learning communities, response to intervention, curriculum renewal, and overseeing many local agencies within education and sport. Accepting challenge is the foundation of my education, experience, and expertise. I am a committed individual who takes pride in collaborating, building relationships, providing innovative solutions, and communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
