About Robert Linklater

I joined TD Bank 15 years ago as Vice President of Wholesale Finance, where I led global valuation, capital optimization and stress testing initiatives. Over the years, my role expanded to encompass financial modeling and capital forecasting and risk assessments. Currently, I serve as Vice President and Head of Enterprise Stress Testing and Forecast Methodologies, responsible for establishing global stress testing programs, capabilities and scenarios. As well, responsible to report Financial, Economic and Geopolitical stress results to Canadian and US senior committees, Boards and Regulators. I also lead Climate Change Scenario development and select analysis. I also served as the Chair of the Canadian Bankers Association's Stress Testing Working Group, collaborating with Canadian regulators to advance their regulatory programs. Prior to my current role, I worked for TD in the United States, based both in New York and the U.S. Head Office in New Jersey, as the Head of US Stress Testing and Analysis. In this capacity, I oversaw CCAR Model Governance, Scenario Generation and Reporting. Before joining TD, I held various positions at the Royal Bank of Canada, including Head of Corporate Treasury Finance, where I was responsible for enterprise derivative and hedge accounting, as well as accounting and reporting of treasury-related activities. I also served as Head of External Reporting, overseeing the Annual and Quarterly Reports to Shareholders, and held senior management roles in Group Risk Management, leading enterprise credit provisioning and Basel II initiatives. I began my career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand in Canada and the United Kingdom, working primarily with financial institutions. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am passionate about giving back to the community and supporting meaningful causes. From 2010 to 2015, I served as a member of the Audit and Investment Committee of the Board for The Woodgreen Foundation. Currently, I am a member of the Board of Directors for The Autism Centre of Toronto (TACT). Through these roles, I have had the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that make a positive impact on our community.
