My experience in management extends over 30 years as I have progressed from smaller companies and teams to my current role as Director of Technology at the Sturgeon Public School Division. Although my experience spans this entire period, I would like to mention a few representative contributions to my employers to illustrate my skills and abilities. Delivery Strategy: Implemented a strategy combining Kanban and Lean methodologies, enabling the team to manage and deliver the requests of distinct business units efficiently. Process Improvement: Successfully designed and implemented department-wide processes that cover incident, problem, change, and release management as well as team-level processes that include support, request, and quality assurance activities. Team Development: Built numerous teams from scratch, putting extensive team and individual development programs in place to ensure top-level performance and employee satisfaction. International Team Leadership: Built and led a team consisting of 65+ technical staff members in El Salvador, Central America that supported and built business-focused solutions. Additionally, I have managed initiatives employing resources from two outsourcing firms in India, achieving total savings of over $1.5 million per year. Network and Infrastructure Management: Oversee and monitor the operation and maintenance of extensive network and infrastructure systems across multiple sites, ensuring reliable and secure digital environments. These achievements span various responsibilities, demonstrating my ability to meet and exceed expectations in multiple leadership areas.
