I was trained in electronics at a technical college in Graz/Austria and started my career at SIEMENS headquarter in Munich/Germany. Within the first 7 years of global marketing responsibility for SAW-filters I got the chance to develop and grow business in Japan with 75% market share. Followed by the promotion to become Business Unit leader for Inductive Components I was offered the chance to move to Toulouse/France for 5 years joining the fast growing Automotive Business. My scope was ramping up ABS and airbag systems in 4 different production site within the SIEMENS group. After returning back to Germany I shifted responsibility becoming global head for production and quality for navigation systems and powertrain electronics. Before returning to Austria after 28 years abroad I was leading the TDK business unit for bluetooth and WIFI modules back in Munich/Germany with 350 mio€ of sales. Starting 2014, I got the opportunity to build up CBmed ltd as a new Medical Biomarker Research Center located in Graz/Austria as CEO/CFO.
